Hello my name is Codie. I live in Warwick RI. I was originally dropped off at a shelter and because I was so handsome, someone took me home right away. There were other cats in the house and it became very difficult to take care of all of us. I was then adopted by another cat lover when I was a very tiny boy.
NOW NOW I hear you laughing !!!! I would appreciate it if you would try to understand that some of us are just meant to be BIG BOYS One time a groomer came to the house where I am living and when she took one look at me she started to laugh and said, "That's not a cat that's a dog!" I was quite offended but when she finished with my new haircut she told me that I was very handsome so I decided to forgive her. Receiving a treat for not biting her fingers off also contributed to my ability to forgive. When it comes to food I always like to keep all doors open. I don't want to miss any meals. Eating is my all time favorite thing to do. Can you tell?
There are two other cats who live with me and at first I didn't like that idea but now that I have gotten to know them I realize that they are pretty good company. I really do appreciate having my companions with me when my owner goes to work. As long as they understand that they can't eat my foodif there is any left (this doesn't happen too often) then I am willing to share with them.
I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderful family and I wish that all of the stray cats out there could be as lucky as me. So if any of you are looking for a pet, please visit your local shelter or take in a neighborhood cat who has been abandoned.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Love, Codie
